Bedsides a clinician, Dr. Jamasi is also a mother of two lovely boys, a wife, and an entrepreneur. She enjoys strength training, cooking healthy foods and desserts for her family and staying active. Most importantly, she loves spending quality time with her sweet husband and boys.
Chiropractor, masters in Neuroscience
Tamara Finch DC, MS,
I am a Lafayette, Louisiana native that graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2015 with my Bachelor of Exercise Science. I spend my off time with my husband and our two cats, exploring the District. We are avid foodies and enjoy long walks and hikes.
During college, I started to experience excruciating back pain with radiation into my legs after intense Ragin’ Jazz dance team practices and consistent spinal compression from 20+ years of dancing and tumbling. An orthopedist took an MRI and told me that I had degenerative disc disease with disc compression. The only treatment he could provide was surgery, injections, or to have me stop dancing in general. Considering I was only 22, I did not want to take this route and tried chiropractic care.
In one visit, the radiating pain was gone and following a month of chiropractic adjustments with assisted rehab, I felt better than I ever had before. From here, I decided to pursue my Doctorate of Chiropractic. In December 2019, I obtained not only my Doctorate, but my Master of Science in Neuroscience, from the accredited college of chiropractic school, Parker University.
During my career, I have thoroughly examined and diagnosed my patients to create treatment plans based on their specific needs. I utilize Diversified Technique, Thompson Drops, Gonstead and Activator. I am also a member of the ICPA and am certified in the Webster Technique for Pregnancy. My ultimate career goal is to provide exceptional chiropractic care for infants, children, pregnant women and adults of all ages.
Chiropractic is an amazing profession that is headed towards more evidence based treatments, ensuring the safety of all patients, while also providing the best holistic healthcare available.
Chiropractor, Dry Needling
Dave (Debarun Borthakur), DC
From an early age, I knew my path was in healthcare. I pursued my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, which opened doors to working in a prestigious super-specialty hospital. Over the years, I've gained hands-on experience in diverse departments such as neurology, orthopedics, cardiovascular, and pulmonology.
My passion for healing didn't stop there-I went on to complete my Doctorate in Chiropractic and made Virginia my home. Since then, I've been honored with the "TopDoc" recognition in Virginia, a proud milestone in my career.
Outside of work, I'm all about spending quality time with my amazing wife and son. We share a love for travel, discovering new foods, and exploring new cultures. I also make it a point to stay engaged in community events, believing that giving back is an essential part of life.
